WIDance offers inclusive classes and workshops in the Greater Wellington region.

 We also offer tailored workshops for community organisations, youth groups and schools.

What: An inclusive class based on the priciples of contemporary dance, including improvisation and creating choreography.
Suitable to all levels of experience. Ages 17+
 
When: Saturdays 11 am to 1 pm

 What: A fun inclusive youth dance class based on beginner contemporary dance principles, using improvisation, body and space awareness through dance-based games, improvisation, and prop use.
  Suitable ages 7 -16

When: Saturdays 10.15 am to 11am

Where: Te Whaea - National Dance & Drama Centre 11 Hutchison Rd, Newtown, Wellington

Cost per term: $50.00 or $9.00 casual

WIDance provides inclusive workshops in Dance throughout the year.

Matariki Workshop

What:  Join WIDance for a delighful journey as we wander the starry night sky, exploring the wonders of Matariki.
When: Saturday 6th July 11.00am - 2.00pm
Where: Te Whaea - National Dance & Drama Centre 11 Hutison Rd, Newtown, Wellington
Cost: Free! (Koha always welcome)

Royal New Zealand Ballet Workshops

  July Ballet Workshop

What:  Join WIDance for a fun-filled evening of ballet with Royal New Zealand Dance Educators
When: Tuesday 30th July 6.45 - 8.15pm
Where: St James Theatre  87/77 Courtenay Place, Te Aro, Wellington
Cost: $12.00 per person (support person free)

What:  Two fun and engaging WIDance movement classes within The Shed Creative Spaces Programme.
Class One: Starts January 16
When: Tuesdays 9.15 - 10.15am
Where: 20 Tongariro Street, Paraparaumu
Cost: $7.00 per class
Class two: Starts January 16
When: Tuesdays 11 -12pm 
Where: Māori Racing Club 47 Te Roto Road Ōtaki (under the members stand)
